How do you activate electricity and water access points for your vessel with Shore Power?
Here's how Ease2pay's Walstroom works
Using Walstroom for the first time? Then create an account on the website or in the app. After this you can use your login information to use all Walstroom access points in the Netherlands and abroad at local rates.
At a Walstroom access Point, you can activate electricity and water. The steps below explain how to turn a facility on and off, and how to pay.
Activate power or water
Upon arriving at the port, you can activate electricity, water and berthing for your vessel. In the app or on the website, select the location where you are currently. It works as follows:
You recognize the access points by the unique number and the Walstroom logo. With this number you activate the facility. Please note: activeer altijd eerst je ligplaats en daarna de andere gewenste diensten.
Do you want to use water? Then make sure you stay by the water hose until you have switched it off again.
Do you want to use electricity? You can see that you have switched on the power when the blue LED ring lights up (if present).
If no more electricity and/or water consumption is registered after a period of time, the facilities turn off automatically. Check this to be sure when you leave the site.
Turn off power or water
In the app and on the website, you can view your ongoing transactions.
Do you want to stop the facilities? Then click on the stop symbol.
Note: you have to stop all the facilities you use separately.
Did you use electricity? Removing only the power cable does not end the power supply.
You will receive a monthly invoice. Haven't been using the Walstroom app for a month? Then you won't get an invoice either.
When registering your account, you can choose between two payment options:
- Direct debit: an amount will be automatically debited from your bank account each month. You will receive an e-mail containing the btw/tax invoice.
- Manual payment: you will receive an e-mail each month informing you that the invoice is available in the app and in the portal on the website. You make the payment via iDeal, Sofort, Mr Cash or Credit Card (MasterCard or VISA).
Do you want to change your payment method? Log in with your details in the app or on our website and adjust the payment details under 'Settings'.

Step 1: Sign Up

Step 2: On
Upon arriving at the marina, the user can activate lodging, power, water or any other facility. The AanUit points are identified by our logo and provided with a five-digit number. This number can be used to activate the facility.
Users turn off the facility themselves in the app. The bill is automatically mailed at the beginning of the next month and we make sure the payment reaches your account.
Install Walstroom within 1 minute

Scan the QR code and download the app and use your mobile to quickly and reliably activate and pay for power, water and a berth for your boat.
It may happen that after switching on, the facility is not activated. This can have several causes. Some of these you may be able to remedy yourself. If you notice a defect or malfunction, please contact our customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you use the website or the smartphone app, you can check the status of a Walstroom access point; if the status is at 'not available', the plug is under maintenance and therefore unavailable. You should then look for another Walstroom access point.
All Walstroom connections are equipped with an earth leakage circuit breaker. This Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) is usually located behind a transparent access panel in the pedestal or cabinet. The GFCI should be on red; this means the voltage can be switched. If it is green or gray, the GFCI is off and no power will be available. You can reset the GFCI yourself by opening the access panel (often loosening 2 thumb screws) and flipping the switch.
Make sure you solve the earth leakage problem on the user side first, though!
It can sometimes take a while for a column to turn on or off. Normally this takes a few seconds, but due to traffic on the network, for example during a festival, this can increase to a few dozen seconds. If you have ended your delivery via the app, website or phone, but it does not seem to switch off, you do not need to contact us. The system has received your "off" request and administratively shuts off the supply; therefore, the next customer does not use power at your expense!
